Evidence is in: three WebP screenshots, resized on the phone before upload.
Test apps. Get feedback.
No coins, no payments: two Android developers test each other's build inside a 48-hour window, and the server keeps the score.
The swap ticket, as the app draws it. Nightlog and Sideplot are example listings; the directory below reads the real table.
The window closes on its own.
Accepting a swap sets a 48-hour deadline in the same database update. Upload before it expires or the swap is cancelled, the testing rating drops by a full star, and repeated misses suspend the account for seven days.
A scheduled job runs every 15 minutes, so nothing waits for someone to open the app.
If the partner never approves, the evidence stays private behind a signed link that expires in fifteen minutes.
The rating lives on the server.
Approved evidence adds 0.1 to a five-star rating. A missed deadline removes 1.0, down to a floor of 1.0. Nothing is calculated on the phone, and a rating event can only be counted once, so two approvals from two devices cannot apply it twice.
At 1.0 the profile is labelled Toxic and only a support appeal clears it.
Apps looking for a tester.
Every active listing in the database, straight from the API. Developers publish from the Android app; this page reads the same rows.
How a swap runs.
List an app
Add the Play Store or private testing link, the category, how long testers have, and what you want checked. The listing is public until you pause it.
The numbers, as the database has them.
Counted from the same Turso tables the Android app uses, zeros included. Nothing on this page is cached or rounded.
Questions developers ask first.
The five that come up before the first swap. Everything else is in the app.
Does testing cost anything?
No. TestSwap has no coins, credits or payments. A swap is an exchange: you test someone's build, they test yours.
What counts as evidence?
One to five screenshots taken on the device during testing. The app converts them to WebP before upload; the server rejects anything over 2 MB, the wrong format, or an upload outside the 48-hour window.
Who sees my screenshots?
Only the two developers in the swap, through a signed link that expires in fifteen minutes. They are deleted from storage as soon as the swap is approved or cancelled.
What happens if a partner goes quiet?
The deadline is enforced by the server, not by a reminder. When it passes, the swap is cancelled, the tester loses a full star, and three misses suspend the account for seven days.
What happens to a dormant account?
A year without activity — no sign-in, no listing, no swap — deletes the account from the server, with its listings, swaps, screenshots and notifications. The scheduled job checks every fifteen minutes. Signing in again later starts a fresh account at 5.0.
The first step is already open.
Install the Android build, sign in with Google, and the first listing you publish appears on this page.
Continue with Google opens the system account picker; the Worker verifies the token before it creates a user.
